We bring together people from every walk of life to build communities centered on Jesus. Here, you’re not just another face in the crowd—you’re known, you belong, and you’re part of something bigger. This isn’t about sitting in a building on Sunday. It’s about joining together to live with purpose and be good news in a broken world. When everything feels fractured, we believe the church is the glue that holds it all together.

Our Beliefs
At South Harbor, we believe the Bible tells one true story—from beginning to end—of a God who creates, rescues, and restores.¹
In the beginning, God created a good and beautiful world, made in love and for love.² Humanity was formed in God’s image to live in relationship with Him and each other.³ But we turned away, choosing our own way over God’s, and brokenness entered the world.⁴
Yet God did not give up. He called a people—starting with Abraham—to bless the world and be a light to the nations.⁵ Through Israel’s story, we see God’s faithfulness even in the face of human failure.⁶
In the fullness of time, God sent Jesus—His Son, fully God and fully human.⁷ Jesus lived the life we couldn’t live, died the death we deserved, and rose again to defeat sin and death.⁸ In Him, we see the clearest picture of who God is and what love looks like.⁹
After Jesus returned to heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to guide, empower, and comfort us.¹⁰ The Spirit gathers us into a new family—people from every nation and background—called to live differently, loving God and loving others.¹¹ We are called to be people of hope, healing, justice, and grace, proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom of God in both word and action.¹²
We believe the story isn’t over. One day, Jesus will return to make all things new.¹³
Our church is part of this ongoing story. We don’t have it all figured out, but we’re on the journey together, following Jesus and helping others find their way back to God.¹⁴
We trust God’s Word to guide us, His Spirit to lead us, and His love to change us.¹⁵
This is the story we live by. And you’re invited to be part of it.
Our Values
Communities of Belonging
We believe that the first thing in a faith community is belonging. That first you belong, then you believe, and together we work to become more like Jesus.
Centered on Jesus
We believe that Jesus is the way to deepest meaning, the truth in a world of questions, and the source of abundant and eternal life.
Formed and Sent
Jesus shapes every part of who we are… our character, our priorities, and our way of life. As we follow Him, we’re sent into the world to love our neighbors, serve with purpose, and live as everyday expressions of the good news.
Good News
We live out Jesus’ example by sharing truth and love, showing God’s grace through our actions, and inviting others into a life-changing relationship with Him.
Next Steps
Throughout Scripture, we see Jesus walking with His disciples… guiding them to grow in learning, mission, and formation. In the same way, we believe that faith is never stagnant but we should always take next steps in faith, moving closer to Him.
Going Deeper
We believe the Bible actually engages the deepest questions we still ask. We are committed to Biblical teaching that is both deep and accessible.
